The Wooden Boat Exchange

Local boat builders contribute to an exhibition of beautiful and intriguing new work opening at the South Coast Regional Arts Centre this month.

The Wooden Boat Exchange, developed by Craftsouth in partnership with Country Arts SA for Just Add Water and supported by Arts SA, has seen artists and craftspeople working across the disciplines of sculpture, printmaking, ceramics and jewellery partnered with boat builders, surfboard makers and other tradespeople from the boat building fraternity to exchange skills, develop ideas and collaborate on the development production of new work.
