Country Arts SA and MusicSA are working together to explore new ways to support contemporary music industry activity in Whyalla.
As a first step, MusicSA CEO Christine Schloithe & music industry professional Anita Decoster will visit Whyalla to meet local artists, venues, event organisers and others involved in music. The visit is about understanding what already exists locally, hearing from the people doing the work, and identifying where future skills development, mentoring and industry support could have the greatest impact.
If you are involved in music in Whyalla, we’d love to meet you. Come along to the Whyalla Music Industry Networking Night or book a one-one meeting with Music SA CEO Christine Schloithe and music industry professional Anita Decoster.
MusicSA is the peak body and advocate for the South Australian contemporary music industry. It exists to promote, support and develop the industry by nurturing careers, creating pathways, delivering industry and professional development opportunities and connecting artists, audiences, festivals, venues and businesses.

We are committed to listening and helping care for Country, and safeguarding, sharing and celebrating First Nations’ living cultures.
