This year, The Australian Ballet celebrates 40 years of taking ballet to regional centres all around the nation with a ‘greatest hits’ gala. This dazzling program will feature key works from four decades of touring, along with a divertissement program of crowd-pleasing classical pas de deux.

The icing on this 40th birthday cake will be Swan Lake Variations, a never-before-seen piece choreographed by David McAllister. It’s a last gift to regional audiences from this beloved icon, as he passes the baton to new Artistic Director David Hallberg.
