About
As part of the Regional Tarnanthi opening weekend celebrations, Country Arts SA will host the inaugural Regional Tarnanthi Art Market on Saturday 20 September from 10am to 4pm at the Barracks.
Showcasing works by First Nations artists from the North, Far North, and West Coast of South Australia, the market will feature a diverse range of art including painting, sculpture, ceramics, jewellery and textiles. All works are created and sold ethically, with no sales commissions – so every dollar from your purchase goes directly to the artists.
An art making activities area with artist Juanella Donovan will keep children entertained, and food and coffee trucks will be on site all day. All are welcome to attend.
At 11am join the curator Marika Davies with artists from Woven within Stars as they discuss their works, practice and inspirations.
