Embrace: Documentary (MA)15+

About

CHAFFEY THEATRE
Thursday September 22 at 10.30am & 7pm
“All Tickets $8.80 each”

Despite being happily married and successfully juggling motherhood while running a thriving photography business, Taryn Brumfitt was privately struggling with crippling body image issues. Close to resorting to plastic surgery to ‘fix’ her post-childbirth body, Taryn decided that what she really needed to change was not in fact her body, but her attitude towards it.

This was the beginning of the Body Image Movement, a now internationally recognised crusade that recognises the importance of body diversity by encouraging people to be more accepting of who they are, to use positive language regarding their bodies and others, and to prioritise health before beauty.

Our goal is to reach as many people as possible around the world and speak to them about how we can learn to fully embrace and love our bodies.

embrace_pic3 The Classification Board has ruled a (MA)15+ rating because of strong nudity.
