About

A COMPLETE UNKNOWN takes place inside the iconic New York music scene of the early 1960s, following 19-year-old Minnesota musician Bob Dylan (Timothée Chalamet) as he rises from an unknown folk singer to a global sensation. His distinctive sound, captivating lyrics, and enigmatic persona quickly earn him worldwide fame, with his music dominating the charts and concert halls.

The film builds culminates with Dylan’s revolutionary electric performance at the legendary 1965 Newport Folk Festival, a defining moment that reshaped music history and cemented Dylan’s legacy in the world of rock and roll.
