We need your help with the new Temporary Art Gallery!

Artists Nadia Cusimano and Paul Gazzola are setting up a Temporary Art Gallery (TAG) in Waikerie across four weeks from October 17 to November 17.

TAG reveals the community’s unique values, interests and personal cultural perspectives. People are invited to donate something of value to them that represents a strong connection with the local community which will be displayed as art works and cultural objects. The pieces will be exhibited in Waikerie from October 18 – November 16.
An auction will take place on the last weekend on November 15 with all monies donated to a local charity/ community project.

But they need some help. Nadia and Paul are on the lookout for a local assistant(s) to be involved in the project. The local assistant(s) will support them in the delivery of the work, help set up the space, make connections with the community, assist with daily conversations with people requiring information, arrange the objects, run the art space at certain times and also be involved in the documentation process of TAG.

This is a great opportunity to connect with Nadia and Paul, exert your organisational skills and get a passion for the art industry and all its possibilities. A small remuneration will be paid for your time.

Nadia and Paul will be in Waikerie on September 23 and 24 and are available for photos and interviews.

To have a look at what you can expect in Waikerie, go to temporaryartgallery.blogspot.com.au where you will see Paul and Nadia’s first TAG in Colonnades, South Australia in 2013.
