Image details: ‘Floating over the Flinders’  artist – Alan Behenna

This spring the Painters Of The Flinders Ranges group will celebrate the 12th annual showing of artworks in their upcoming exhibition, ‘The Flinders Revealed’, at the Old Wilpena Station woolshed.

Ten artists will be featured in the show: Alan Behenna, Anita Bentley, Susan Borgas, David Chalmers, Graham Chapman, Elizabeth Collins, Don Gangell, John Millard, Marion Sheidow, Kevin Waters.

The Group brings together an eclectic collection of Flinders inspired paintings, with more than 100 works showcasing the established artistic heritage of the Flinders region. The exhibition is now well established as the second largest art event, in terms of visitor numbers, outside of metropolitan South Australia.

Artists will be present at the opening reception on 2.00pm Saturday 7 September.

The show will extend through to Monday 7 October 9.30 am to 4.30 pm daily.

The Woolshed is located approximately 1.5 km from the Wilpena Pound Resort.
