Successful Mixed Media Workshops

Bordertown school students and adults  gained valuable skills whilst under the direction of Ballarat artist Grace Bailey.

Grace worked with  Year 10-12 students in a mixed media workshop on March 6. The workshop focused on drawing techniques, enlarging images, precision using the grid method and how to use watered-down acrylics to their benefit.

A two day workshop followed on March 7 and 8 with 15 artists from across the Limestone Coast focusing on oil mixed media portraits (some pictured above).

Grace was visiting the Tatiara to launch her exhibition Looking Beyond at the Walkway Gallery.
