Do you have a great exhibition idea or a passion for exhibition making? We want to hear from you!
Country Arts SA in partnership with Murray Bridge Regional
Gallery is offering a regional South Australian the opportunity to gain
hands-on experience in visual arts curation and exhibition management.
The selected recipient will receive $10,000 and will work with two mentors over a 12 month period to develop an exhibition outcome for the Murray Bridge Regional Gallery between 20 March – 2 May 2021.
This opportunity is open to any Australian citizen living in
regional or remote South Australia who wants to gain knowledge and experience
in curating, coordinating and managing visual arts exhibitions.
We are interested to hear from a wide range of
practitioners, including those with little or no curatorial experience.
Someone who is well suited to this opportunity might be; a
regional gallery worker (volunteer or paid); an artist looking to explore a
curatorial practice; someone involved in their local arts community; an events
facilitator wanting to move into the visual arts realm; a writer or researcher
wanting to explore an idea with contemporary visual artists.
Full details, project details, budget, timeline, assessment criteria and application process found here.
