Shared Arts at Burra

SHARED ARTS is a community based not-for-profit art studio and workshop in Burra.

Two years ago Lis Jones Ingman purchased the 1960s CWA Hall in Burra as a painting studio for herself and as a place to hold meetings, classes and workshops.

Lis is an artist, art teacher and exhibitions coordinator for the Burra Regional Art Gallery. As someone involved in aspects of Burra town life on a volunteer basis, Lis has wide access to many networks, including the arts industry.

Lis has set up the CWA building so that is is a comfortable and inviting space for artists to be. If you have an idea for teaching a class or taking a workshop, or if you have a group of friends who would like to be part of a creative activity once a week, make contact via the Shared Arts Facebook page or contact Lis at [email protected]
