Picture Perfect: Bordertown Workshop

Creative practitioners in the Upper Limestone Coast will have the opportunity to learn how to professionally photograph their work when Guildhouse hosts the workshop, Picture Perfect: photographing your work.

As a creative practitioner, professional documentation is essential. Whatever the purpose – grant application, exhibition invite, marketing material or prize entry – getting the best documentation you can may mean the difference between winning that opportunity or missing out! Learn the value of a good image and discover the keys to getting one in this lecture-based workshop presented by the highly regarded glass artist Wendy Fairclough and experienced fine art photographer Grant Hancock.

Presented in partnership with Country Arts SA through the Regional Arts Fund and supported by the Ian Potter Foundation, Picture Perfect: photographing your work is part of Guildhouse’s INFORM Regional Access program.

INFORM is Guildhouse’s professional development program of workshops, artist and industry talks, information sessions and networking events. While sessions offer creative practitioners a good opportunity to network with peers, the primary aim of INFORM is to provide creative practitioners with practical skills, information, advice and the contacts necessary to develop and maintain a successful professional practice.

When:  10am – 2.33pm Sunday 30 March 2014

Where: Tatiara Civic Centre, 43 Woolshed St Bordertown
