Painted Selfies

Visitors to the Mannum Teddy Bears Picnic  on Wednesday 9 October  were delightfuly surprised when they went down to the river that day.   On the grassy slopes of the river bank was a free pop-up portrature workshop.

Local artist Stephen Oatway  assisted participants aged 10 and over to paint their own acrylic ‘selfie’.

The workshop ‘This is Me’ was an initiative of Mid-Murray Council and Country Arts SA.

This pop-up workshop is one of several planned for the coming year at various community events throughout the council district.
