Our Nature in the Walkway Gallery

Bordertown’s Walkway Gallery is celebrating the South Australia Living Artist Festival (SALA) with Port Adelaide artists Bob Daly and Kalyna Micenko and their exhibition In Our Nature.

Bob and Kalyna have brought cultural activities to schools and communities across the state and around the nation with an exciting collection of community and cultural development endeavours for over 30 years.

The colourful pair first visited the district in the early 80’s and fell in love with the local flora and fauna – a love that was quickly rekindled when the pair were the community artists on the Tatiara District Council’sIconic Flag’ project in 2014.

In Our Nature will reflect the beauty and diversity of the Upper South East with a mosaic of colourful paintings (one pictured) and stunning appliqué tree canopies. The exhibition installation will also feature exquisite glass panels by glass artist Kurt Florimond.

A school education program will also be running in conjunction with this exhibition.
