Project Grant Round Two is open from 6 July – 17 August. Eligible artists and organisations can apply for up to $30,000.
To help get you inspired and focused on creating an amazing application, the grants team are hosting a number of grant writing workshops online and in-person during July and August. The workshops are designed to help guide you through the grant writing process with practical tips and gain insights into putting together a competitive grant application from recently funded projects.
The online and in-person workshops will cover:
· Defining your project with a one-page synopsis covering the ‘who, what, where, why, when and how’ details required to start crafting your project into a well-articulated plan.
· Engaging with key project stakeholders and cultural advisors to ensure you have enough time to assemble your project team, have the right cultural approvals in place, and strong Letters of Support from various stakeholders and community groups.
· Budget and project planning tips and tools to ensure you build a solid case for funding and instill confidence in the team’s ability to deliver the project to the highest standard.
· Inspirational case studies and great examples of applications that achieved funding success in the most recent grant round, including the Burra Orchestra Project (community orchestral music); Kaurna Yarta – The Seasons Regional Tour (First Nations contemporary performance); Portal Festival (multi-arts festival and creative development platform); and Kungka Tjuta Music Project (First Nations women’s music and cultural storytelling).
