Mannum Artists Merge

The Arnold Gallery in the Mannum Dock Museum is currently hosting an eclectic exhibition by nine Murraylands artists.

Curated by local artist Roger Baker, the showing of five visual artists, two sculptors and two multi-media practitioners heralds a revitalisation of the Arnold Gallery.  For three of the artists, it is their first exhibition.

The gallery’s recently upgraded facilities, a result of the Mid-Murray Council and  Mannum Dock Museum partnership, has allowed the gallery to schedule an increased in number of exhibitions each year.

“Not only has this upgrade enhanced another asset for the residents of the community” Arts and Cultural Development Officer, Tess Minett says, “but will also significantly increase opportunities for local artists”.
