Step Up is a grant of up to $5000 for artists, organisations and community groups to undertake small cultural projects, or to develop a project that will lead to a larger cultural project or for individual artists to undertake professional development opportunities.
Step Out grant program is up to $10,000 for individuals and up to $20,000 for organisations. Individuals, communities and organisations can apply to create high quality and diverse arts projects that encourage community engagement, develop new cultural networks, build sustainable cultural activity and increase professional development and employment opportunities.
Skills Development grant provides up to $3000 for groups or individuals to undertake projects in any art form which provide opportunities for skills development through workshops or opportunities for the development of project ideas by supporting costs associated with the short term visit by an artist(s) or guest speaker(s) to assist
community groups in the development stage of major arts projects.
Country Arts SA Chief Executive Officer Steve Saffell said: “It’s a great feeling to be able to give artists a kick-start to their careers. These grants are designed to give artists the
chance to focus on their art and where it can take them and their community. We look forward to continuing our support of arts and cultural activities in regional South Australia which help build sustainable cultural, economic and social benefits for all involved.”
Don’t forget Quick Step grant applications are accepted anytime during the year. Or, have you got a project or fabulous idea you would like to pitch?
