Flags Pop Up at Mannum Show

The Mannum Agricultural Show on Saturday March 1st was host to the Mid-Murray Council and Country Arts pop up flag making workshop for young people and families.

More than 30  people made colourful flags which were then carried proudly by their creators on recycled Bamboo poles provided by the elimination of the river weed, courtesy of Mid Murray Council workers.

The wild wind on the day guaranteed a challenging work space for local artist/ facilitators Lindy Fox and Annie O’Dea but also showed completed flags to their best advantage.
