Drawing on Country

People of all ages are invited to bring drawings or painting equipment, cameras or tablets and interpret a perspective of the lake’s environment and the artist’s interpretation of country. The project will be held again on the same date in 2014 so the perspectives and changes can be documented and compared.

A Plein Air artist will be present at each site to coordinate and support participants and demonstrate outdoor drawing/painting processes and techniques. At the end of the day, participants will be able to submit their work which will form an exhibition at Signal Point Gallery, Goolwa (with potential to tour to other exhibition venues).

When: 10.00 am – 4.00 pm (lunch provided) Saturday 5th October 2013

Where: Milang, Clayton, Goolwa and Raukkan will all host a Drawing on Country event.
