Our Corka Bubs creates memorable life moments where child, care and dance meet.

Our Corka Bubs is the first ever Aboriginal contemporary dance work choreographed specifically for babies under 2 years and their carers. It is captivating storytelling for all ages through movement and music.

Made by renowned South Australian Aboriginal choreographer Gina Rings, you and a small audience of babies are transfixed through movement and play that draws strongly from aspects of Australian Aboriginal culture.

Our Corka Bubs is grounded in theories of early childhood development and Aboriginal storytelling. The performance uses gentle motifs and gestural dance along with traditional live and recorded sounds.  This mixture creates a gently interactive and transformative work paying attention to a baby’s need to both explore and to feel secure.

Let them dance before they can crawl!

Our Corka Bubs is based on Sally Chance’s This (Baby) Life.
