Catharsis: Apply now to take your work digital

Are you a regionally based artist ready to ignite the digital space?

At a time when online art has grown in response to Covid-19, SA Power Networks is providing two regional artists the opportunity to extend their creative practice into a digital space.

Each artist will be supported by a $10,000 artist and materials fee as part of Catharsis – a Country Arts SA initiative created to provide a digital extension to artists’ current practice.

The successful artists will work with Adelaide-based digital art and technology innovators Sandpit, who will provide ‘digital dramaturgy’ for each of the artists to develop a new work through the use of digital technologies. They will also have the unique chance of interacting with a number of SA Power Networks experts in the areas of smart technologies, engineering and gaming.

Applications are now closed.

For any enquiries please contact Country Arts SA’s Arts and Culture Leader, Merilyn de Nys by email [email protected].

APPLICATIONS CLOSED: Monday 24 August, 2020

Curated and supported by Country Arts SA , the ‘Catharsis’ initiative has been made possible with support from Department of the Premier and Cabinet through Arts South Australia and SA Power Networks.
