We are committed to listening and helping care for Country, and to safeguard, share and celebrate First Nations’ living cultures.
Applications Open for Our Mob 2019
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists living in South Australia are invited to apply for OUR MOB, a unique and outstanding exhibition of Aboriginal art across a wide range of media. Students and artists under the age of 18 are also invited to apply for OUR YOUNG MOB.
OUR MOB began in 2006 and is held in the spirit of reconciliation to demonstrate the power of art in bringing together diverse peoples in harmony with a common goal.
Entry for selection is free, and prizes include;
– $5,000 Don Dunstan Foundation OUR MOB Emerging Artist Prize 2019
– $1,500 Country Arts SA Regional OUR MOB Emerging Artist Professional Development Award
– OUR YOUNG MOB Award – art materials donated by Ku Arts awarded to an artist/student under the age of 18.
Exhibition dates: 23rd Aug – 3rd Oct
Closing date for applications: 5th July 2019
Venue: QBE Galleries, Festival Theatre foyer, Adelaide Festival Centre
