Aboriginal Diggers Playwright Residency now open for applications

Country Arts SA is seeking to appoint a high calibre Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander playwright (contractor), with a proven ability in writing at scale for the stage to write a new play for the Aboriginal Diggers Playwright’s Residency Project 2017 to 2018.

The selected contractor will work closely with the Creative Producer Lee-Ann Buckskin, the ANZAC Brains Trust (an Aboriginal reference group established to advise and assist the residency program), State Theatre Company of South Australia artistic staff (including a director and dramaturg) and returned Aboriginal service men and women and their families.
