A gallery for young people

Bordertown Walkway Gallery was transformed into a creative space for under 18’s during the December/January school holidays.  The Gallery solely featured artwork from young people under 18 years of age. During the holidays the gallery unusually featured 4 blank walls as an open invitation for  young people to create a masterpiece of their own to hang up.

This initiative carries on from the successful Walkway Gallery art classes run during each school holiday where young people learn about a famous artist and create artworks in the same style.

January’s fully booked session was all about Jackson Pollock and was be facilitated by Arts and Community Development Officer, Naomi Fallon.
