About

Artist Talk with John deCaux
Meet the artist after the film.
Free afternoon tea provided.

Join local filmmaker John deCaux for an insightful afternoon as he discusses and showcases his career’s highlights. From his debut feature film “Almost There”, shot over two years of weekends in Loxton and premiered at the Chaffey Theatre, to his latest film “At the Mercy”, which addresses the challenges farming families face during droughts.

John will take us behind the scenes, unravelling the filmmaking process and the journey from conceptualising an idea to bringing it to the screen.

Be part of this interactive masterclass in filmmaking, where you can engage with John through Q&A sessions throughout.
