Sisters of Abundance presents Back on Track
Duration: 135 minutes including interval
Sisters of Abundance are ‘Back on Track’ and ready to entertain again after two years of Covid restrictions on singing.
Formed in 2005 the choir is a local community choir of mature age ladies based at McLaren Vale, who work together to present a varied program with choreographed moves to many of their songs. There is nothing old and staid about these ladies as they swing into gear, and certainly not what you would expect to see at a “choir performance”, as they make their way through an eclectic program of songs ranging from hits by Queen, Bobby Darren, Rosemary Clooney, The Turtles just to name a few. Also, memorable songs from well known stage musicals, film and television programs – Lion King, Les Miserable, Outlander, Pocahontas and Gypsy.
Joining the Sisters for this concert will be guest artists Greg John and Julia Henning who will join the Sisters for a wonderful medley of songs as well as their own presentations.
You won’t be able to stop your feet tapping to these great sounds as they wend their way through a very enjoyable and energetic program.
Come along, sit back and enjoy this wonderful afternoon of entertainment, because the Sisters are certainly “Back on Track”.
