The Magpie Warblers present Into The Woods

180 mins incl interval

About

-Made famous by the movie adaptation, starring Meryl Streep, James Corden. Emily Blunt and Anna Kendrick-

“…A rendition of Stephen Sondheim’s 1987 stage production about tumbled together fairy tales, Into the Woods is whimsical and outlandish, enchanting and thoughtful. By the final curtain it makes it plain that even in a crooked-branch storyland of wicked witches and sumptuous slippers, foolish and selfish behaviors come at a high price. Only hard work and steadfast love, we’re told, can heal the heart and set the wrong things of the Woods right once again.”

The newly formed, Magpie Warblers Theatre Company, invites you on this journey through the woods. Listen to stories of giants in the sky and palace steps, spread with pitch. Stories of golden-egg laying hens and little girls with giant appetites. Come and see the amazing talent that the Mid-North has in this breakthrough season of ‘Into The Woods’. Bring your friends and bring your family, but, be careful of any wishes that you bring- they might just come true… not free!
