Puccini’s popular opera inspired by the musical Miss Saigon is filled with memorable music performed in Italian* by Opera Australia’s iconic singers. From the lovers’ first rapturous embrace to the intense finale and the famous aria ‘One Fine Day’, Japanese and American musical themes will leave audiences entranced. This opera is in Italian with surtitles.

Madame Butterfly is directed by one of Australia’s greatest theatrical minds, John Bell, this unforgettable production is complete with beautiful costumes and sets.

Note: Madama Butterfly will have surtitles displayed on a screen above the stage.
