Why donate

  • Truth-telling led by community

Donating to Kumarangk is a practical way to stand alongside Ngarrindjeri community and support truth-telling that is led by the people whose stories these are. It helps ensure the stories of the Ngarrindjeri mi:mini who resisted the bridge and protected land and waters are held, shared and carried forward with care, dignity and integrity.

  • Preserve culture, knowledge and legacy for future generations

This work is about more than the past. It is about cultural continuation, intergenerational knowledge, justice and self-determination. Your donation helps make sure these powerful stories are not lost, simplified or told by others, but remain grounded in community and preserved through exhibition, documentation, performance and archive.

  • Create lasting impact through meaningful support

Work of this depth needs time, resources and long-term commitment. Donations help create the right conditions for community-led storytelling, artistic practice and legacy. Every contribution helps build something enduring, and with matched funding of up to $75,000 from the State Government, each dollar given brings us closer to the $200,000 goal.
