Country Arts SA’s manages arguably the most comprehensive visual arts touring exhibitions program across South Australia, encompassing galleries from as far west as Ceduna to Mount Gambier in the south east.

It provides regional South Australian communities with access to quality visual arts, craft and design exhibitions, while also promoting through exhibition the work of South Australian artists nationally. The emphasis on contemporary visual arts practice acknowledges the need to promote innovation, education, growth and conceptual and technical development across South Australia. The Program assists with the development of infrastructure for regional galleries and artists and provides professional advice on touring, conservation, packing, freight and display.

We are delighted to bring to South Australia a variety of high calibre exhibitions that will enable visitors to our regional galleries the chance to experience cutting edge works and pieces of national significance.  Take the time to pop into one of our galleries near you and enjoy the amazing artwork on offer.

As well as touring existing exhibitions to the regions, Country Arts SA also initiates the curation of new exhibitions independently and in partnership with other South Australian, interstate and overseas arts organisations to produce a high quality and diverse program mix of touring exhibitions, well resourced with invitations, posters, catalogues, education kits, installation advice and media packs.

Country Arts SA is the South Australian representative on the National Exhibitions Touring Support (NETS) Australia’s delivery of best practice touring exhibitions in contemporary visual culture to remote, regional & metropolitan communities throughout Australia. http://www.netsaustralia.org.au
