Local & Live is a new Country Arts SA initiative that supports regional artists.

Artists will receive access to our technical resources and a platform to share their creativity, all under the bright lights of our hallowed regional stages.

If you have a passion for the arts, whether you’re a musician, singer-songwriter, poet, storyteller, magician, comedian, theatre-maker or dancer, join us in spreading a little joy to our community.

We’ll treat you like a star, ensure you’re beautifully lit and sound terrific. We’ll arrange an audience, record the event and stream it live where we can.

We’re keen to unearth an original voice, a new work, an inspiring sound, or a contemporary take on an old classic.

While this program is about celebrating the diversity of regional voices, the longer-term aim is to establish an ecosystem of regional artists that supports and stimulates local creative collaborations.

We strongly encourage submissions from young creatives and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists. We also encourage performing artists from non-English speaking backgrounds to apply.
