Grants are available to support arts and cultural activities in regional South Australia that are sustainable, have long term cultural, economic and social benefits, develop partnerships and cultural networks and provide skills development opportunities.

  • $10,000
  • Grant round opens 17 November 2021 and closes 17 January 2022.

Cultural Tourism Accelerator Experience Initiative grants of $10,000 are for an initiative that adds an offer or experience to an existing program, to increase visitation or extend the visitor experience of ‘place’.

  • Grant round opens 17 November 2021 and closes 13 December 2021.

The Cultural Tourism Accelerator Flash Marketing Campaign grants are competitive quick response grants of $2,500 for upcoming projects to extend digital or grassroots marketing into a new visitor market.

Cultural Tourism Accelerator Partnership Initiative Grants of $15,000 are for an initiative that develops a partnership with hospitality, accommodation, retail or events businesses to increase visitation and develop cross markets.

CTA Targeted Marketing Campaign - Regional Arts Fund

Cultural Tourism Accelerator Targeted Marketing Campaign are strategic and targeted grants of $10,000 for a marketing campaign to achieve a particular visitation outcome. The campaign will accompany an existing project, event, festival, venue or annual program.

Project Grants - Regional Arts Fund

  • Up to $30,000
  • Project Grants have closed for 2021. Round 1 2022 will open 31 January and close 15 March 2022.

Project Grants will fund high-quality arts projects benefitting regional or remote artists, arts workers, audiences and communities. The focus of the project could include any area of creative practice, multiple artforms or cross-disciplinary practice.

Quick Response Grant — Regional Arts Fund

  • Up to $3000 for Individuals; Up to $5000 for Organisations/Community Groups
  • Quick Response Grants are delivered each year from February to November, and are batched for assessment at the end of each month.

Quick Response Grants will fund professional development opportunities for artists and arts workers or small project opportunities. The program supports immediate need that arises where the activity is unable to be planned for or supported in other funding rounds, for example taking up professional development, skills development or small project opportunities at short notice.

Skills Development Assistance Grants

  • Up to $750
  • Annually from mid-January to mid-December

Country Arts SA’s Skills Development Assistance Grants are available to support artists and arts workers to participate in professional development opportunities. The grants are fast-turnaround and are intended for those who wish to undertake a time sensitive Skills Development opportunity. These grants provide assistance with travel and accommodation costs associated with undertaking professional development opportunities such as workshops, conferences, seminars etc. Country Arts SA's Skills Development Assistance Program is managed by Country Arts SA on behalf of Arts South Australia for the South Australian Government. The Skills Development Assistance Program opens each year in mid-January and closes mid-December.
