Pablo Picasso is considered one of the greatest and most prolific artists of all time. Many films have dealt with his later years – the art, the affairs and the wide circle of friends. But where did all this begin? What made Picasso in the first place?
Young Picasso looks at his early years; the upbringing and the learning that lead to his extraordinary achievements. It visits three cities that played key roles, Malaga, Barcelona and Paris and explores their influence on the artist, focusing on his specific artworks from these early years.
