Whyalla Ballet School proudly presents LIVE ON AIR

 

The Sleeping Beauty ACT 1 – Join the baby Princess Aurora on her christening day in this enchanting classical ballet. With all the beloved music from Tchaikovsky’s glorious score, the Lilac Fairy and fairy Godmothers bestow their virtues upon the princess and present lavish gifts of precious stones; ruby, emerald, sapphire, pearl, amethyst and diamond.

 

Trolls – Enter the colourful, wondrous world of the Trolls! With a constant song on their lips, this modern and jazz section is filled with music, heart and hair-raising dance!

 

Classical Tap – Feast your ears and eyes upon our Tap Dance Orchestra. Performing a stellar suite of Renaissance rhythm and Baroque beats, a music score that you may not think you would Tap along too!

 

Memphis The Musical – is set in the 1950’s where rock ‘n’ roll was born, the seedy underground nightclubs, radio stations and recording studios of Memphis, Tennessee. A white radio DJ who adores taboo R&B music and a black club singer journey to the ends of the airwaves with songs of roof-raising rock ‘n’ roll!

 

Showcasing local dancers aged 3 to adult performing classical ballet, modern, jazz and tap dance.
