Come and let The Port Pirie Youth Theatre open your mind to “all the Thinks you can think”, as they bring your favourite Dr Seuss characters to life in the wild, wacky and whimsical Seussical The Musical!
Join Horton The Elephant, The Cat In The Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Mayzie LaBird and even The Grinch as they embark on an epic adventure. Meet Jojo, a small boy with a huge imagination, who’s “Thinks” take our colourful characters from the Jungle Of Nool near the River Waloo, to the far away land of Solla Sollew and the tiny, invisible planet of Who.
Horton finds himself in double trouble. Not only does he need to protect his new friend, Jojo and the citizens of Whoville from those who don’t believe they are real, he also has to guard an abandoned egg left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie.
Although Horton is taunted by The Wickersham Brothers, kidnapped by hunters, sold to the circus and even put on trial, Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him and his kind and powerful heart.
With the help of some mischief and mayhem from The Cat In The Hat, The Port Pirie Youth Theatre will take you and your family on an incredible journey of friendship and loyalty you won’t want to miss.
Oh, the places you’ll go, come along everyone. There are Hunches to follow and fun to be done!!
