UPDATE: Given the situation around COVID-19, Country Arts SA has made the difficult decision to postpone Drawing on Country 2020.
In the interest of public safety, we consider this the most responsible course of action for patrons, artists and our community. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Updates will be posted here and on our social media channels.
Following the overwhelming success of Drawing on Country in 2018 and 2019, communities are once again invited to attend a free outdoor art workshop interpreting their local landscape in various locations across the state.
People of all ages and abilities are invited to bring their art materials and delve into the artist’s connection to place.
An artist will be present at each site to coordinate and support participants and demonstrate outdoor arts processes and techniques. Art materials will also be available for trial on the day.
If your community is interested in hosting a Drawing on Country event in your community, contact Di Gordon on 0484 106 216 or email [email protected]
