Featuring KASEY CHAMBERS, BUSBY MAROU, ASHLEIGH DALLAS, HARRY HOOKEY & the Foggy Mountain Jam Band
The music experience of a lifetime is making its way through regional Australia in Feb/Mar 2014!
What started as a small, boutique concert where artists and musicians became ‘jamming’ mates in front of a small crowd of lucky punters on a private property in the Hunter Valley NSW, has now grown to a full scale extravaganza of wandering minstrels where artists play their own hits and also jam along with their friends on stage to their favourite songs.
The FOGGY MOUNTAIN JAM Tour is headlined by icons of Australian music – KASEY CHAMBERS and BUSBY MAROU, with exciting new comers HARRY HOOKEY and ASHLEIGH DALLAS completing the lineup.
KASEY CHAMBERS is a multi-ARIA & Golden Guitar winner, has numerous gold, platinum & No.1 Albums, and was a pioneer in crossing-over country music to the mainstream population with hits such as ‘Not Pretty Enough’, ‘Pony & the Captain’.
BUSBY MAROU have just released their 2nd hit album ‘Farewell Fitzroy’, which follows on from their popular self-titled debut album which included hits such as ‘Binding my time’. Hailing from Rockhampton, fronted by Tom Busby and Jeremy Marou and having just completed a National Tour of sold out shows, BUSBY MAROU are your ultimate fun loving, story-telling jam band.
HARRY HOOKEY is a familiar face around Melbourne and also a former law student. Having already performed with the likes of Tim Rogers, Leo Sayer, Busby Marou, Kasey Chambers & Shane Nicholson, his current single ‘Sometimes’ is getting National airplay on Triple M with an album release scheduled for early 2014. Influences and comparisons include Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Neil Young and the Drones.
A young, quirky country girl, ASHLEIGH DALLAS has had a massive 2013 with the release of her first solo album, ‘Dancing With A Ghost’ through Warner Music. Personally plucked from her hometown of Tamworth NSW by none other than Kasey Chambers, Ashleigh has become a permanent member of Kasey’s band as her Fiddle & Banjo player. She’s also opened up her shows both here in Australia and in the US. The success of ‘Dancing With a Ghost’ has landed her two Golden Guitar nominations for next year including ‘Best Female Artist’ and ‘Best New Talent’.
