This screening is presented as part of Country Arts SA’s Arts on Screen program.
For the first time in cinema worldwide comes a unique look into the open-air museum that is the city of Florence, historically referred to as the cradle of the Renaissance.
Join us for an immersive, multi-sensory tour of the celebrated breeding ground of creativity that was home to legendary figures like Michelangelo, Raphael and Botticelli, with an inside look into to the very treasure house containing their masterpieces: the Uffizi Gallery.
Audiences will receive a stimulating, emotional commentary from leading Renaissance figure Lorenzo the Magnificent as, from a timeless limbo, he takes us on a tour of “his” Florence with valuable contributions from those leading Florence’s artistic circles.
